Job Description
On behalf of our client we are currently seeking a Project/Construction Manager - (residential construction) to join their team. The successful candidate will oversee their General Contracting and Construction Division, with a focus on large higher-end residential renovations, additions and developments of larger investment properties for real estate investors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Continuously source and locate new opportunities
- Work with designers and contractors to complete construction projects, including large renovations and additions to single family homes, or large developments for residential investments, with a focus in the Windsor and Chatham-Kent area
- Collaborate with client and designers to outline scope, goals, required resources, and timelines
- Effectively manage project scope, internal construction crew and outsourced external contractors
- Regulates workflow to maximize efficiency, ensures timelines and budgets are met
- Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports
- Recruit new qualified design consultants, contractors, and vendors to work with PE Real Estate Solutions
- Very accountable and detail oriented
- Thorough knowledge of construction practices
- Ability to effectively negotiate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 10 years of progressive residential construction experience in a manager role
- Knowledge of construction cost control and basic accounting procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Suite
