Please note that this company is located in the new city of Hamilton and is not readily accessible by public transportation – you will need a reliable car!Responsibilities:Architecture of solutions for our clients internal customers in Sales and Marketing, Finance, Operations and Human ResourcesDevelop, test and implement solutions using a variety of Microsoft products including Visual Studio 2005, SQL Server 2005, SharePoint and InfoPathParticipate in global redevelopment of our clients website and subsequent redevelopment oftheir CanadianwebsiteDevelopment of handheld solutions for our employees out in the field SharePoint Portal Server intranet website maintenance and customizationDocument new and existing systems Analyze day to day technical challenges and present timely solutions Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the networkOther duties as assignedQualifications:The successful candidate will have 3 years of practical development experience Applicants must have solid experience and knowledge of development software, including Visual Studio.NETExperience with ASP.NET, C# or VB.NET and the .NET Framework class librariesExperience and knowledge of SQL Sever 2000/2005 with at least a conceptual understanding of Analysis Services, Data Warehousing, and Data Transformation ServicesExperience in testing and production deliveryExperienced in functional and technical specification developmentTeam playerA strong command of written and oral English is a mustNice to haves, but not required: ASP, PHP and web designVisio, EDI, Navision, MS Project, knowledge of finance/accountingExperienced with the tools and techniques of system integration (MSMQ, XML, Web Services, flat files etc…)Experience with SharePoint Portal Server 2003 and InfoPathCertificationsEducation: University Degree preferred or College Diploma (Computer Programmer/Analyst) Or equivalent experienceIf youre not interested, but know someone who is, please help a current or former colleague in their career development by referring them.
