Position SummaryThe North Coast Community Services Society (NCCS) has a position available for aProgram Director in the incredible community of Prince Rupert where adventure abounds. Take advantage of access to Vancouver Island, Haida Gwaii, and the CentralCoast with BC Ferries.The JobNCCS offers a variety of programs and services to children, youth, and families in Prince Rupert andthe wider geographic area that includes Haida Gwaii. As a member of the senior leadership team, under thesupervision of the Executive Director, the Program Director plays a key role in strategic planning, operationaloversight, policy and budget development, and change management initiatives. Primary responsibilities alsoinclude:Duties and Responsibilities• Supervision and evaluation of program employees to ensure service deliverables, policy adherence,and reporting requirements are met.• Needs identification for and coordination of employee training and professional development.• Participation in planning and coordinating the outreach and fundraising activities that promote the NCCS Society and its programs and services.Management of programs to ensure effective service delivery consistent with contractual requirements. Qualifications and Skills       NCCS is looking for an individual who holds the fundamental belief that each individualmatters and embraces the need to demonstrate compassion while consistently maintaining professionalboundaries with employees, clients, community partners, and other stakeholders. As a member of anenergetic and compassionate team whose mandate is to provide quality services using culturally inclusive andtrauma informed practices, the successful candidate will bring humanity, support, and guidance to the agency,as well as a vision of the future that will address complex community needs.• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any field related to providing supports to children andfamilies: social work, early childhood education, education, nursing, pediatric rehabilitationtherapy (OT, SLP, PT), psychology, or business education.• Four years of relevant leadership experience related to providing services to children and familiesin a supervisory capacity within a union environment OR, an equivalent combination of education and experience deemed acceptable by the employer.• Understand, demonstrate and maintain professional boundaries with co-workers, clients andotherstakeholders• Clear Criminal Record Review• Physical ability to meet job requirements• Class 5 driver's license, clear driver's abstract and daily access to and use of vehicleHow to ApplyPlease apply directly through the linkedin posting and select which position you are feel you are most suitable for.
