Program Coordinator 1 – Special Project – Saskatoon Location Type Posting Date Closing Date Saskatoon Full Time May 8, 2024 May 31, 2024 Dumont Technical Institute, a division of the Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research, invites applications for the following position:Competition Code: 2402 200S May 31Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Senior PC, the Program Coordinator 1 position will be responsible for the wrap around services offered to current and future students across the province. This included supervision of staff, streamlining services offered, and ensuring proper student supports are available. Relationship building and liaising with community partners and other organizations. Report composition, administrative and clerical support as required. Travel will be required to outlying areas, a valid driver’s license is needed.Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Social Science/Studies, Education, or a relevant field of study. An extensive understanding of the Métis culture and the Labour market for Indigenous people in essential to the position.
