We contribute by offering a great diversity of projects, development opportunities through accessible training as well as internal promotion opportunities.If you like to work in the heat of the moment through a dynamic, collaborative working climate, and looking to grow professionally through a host of new challenges, look no further and lets get together!JOB SUMMARY:The Production Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the fulfillment of customer and stock orders through design and execution of a production schedule, procurement plan, resource planning and stocking plan that ensures on time and in full delivery of orders as well as creating ample stock for future requirements.ACTIVITIES:- Create and execute production plans directed at successful fulfillment of customer orders and stock requirements- Direct production processes with a focus on efficiency and deadlines- Allocate labour to tasks as required in collaboration with Production Lead / Production Planner- Oversee and advise Procurement staff on material needs for plant activities- Support and promote GMP, Quality Initiatives, and Safety Policies and Procedures- Coordinate Preventative Maintenance program- Promote and assist in the maintenance of the Quality Management System- Uphold Overall Company Values and fulfill mutually agreed upon position-specific and company goals and objectives- Achieve performance KPI’s as specified. - Ensure production quality standards are meet and/or exceeded- Maintain relevant machine, product, and process knowledge and required certifications- Assisting warehouse and production teams with work order prioritization- Ensure material is available for the work orders, work order tracking through SAGE and ensuring all required work order entries are completed by Production Planner- Collaborate with Purchasing department in determining appropriate items to be purchased to meet delivery and cost requirements - Directs and manages all manufacturing operations and overall responsibility for production, maintenance, and any other postproduction-related activities.- Maintains operations standard for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety and improved efficiency - Oversees delivery teams to ensure quality, on-time delivery. - Assign priority execution on lines and shifts.- Review workload to ensure balance to wellbeing.- Continually monitor production and identify areas of improvement and development. - Train & develop Production staff, contribute to succession planning- Conduct Employee Development Plans and Performance Reviews- Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives (5S, Lean, CI)- Oversight of Production Facilities housekeeping- Maintain daily awareness of plant performance to plan, adjust to meet production targets as required- Respond to internal and external customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner- Perform root cause analysis, intervention and corrective action regarding the prevention of manufacturing issues and concerns- Manage and evaluate equipment and resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime- Ensure all company policies and operating procedures including quality and health & safety guidelines are always followedCOMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONSTechnical skills:- High Attention to Detail and Quality Output- Excellent Communication and Problem-Solving Skills- Established and Effective Supervisory Skills-Strong Organizational Skills and Safety Focus-Intermediate to Advanced Computer Skills (ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, Word, Email)- Aptitude for Production Processes- Accountable, Dependable and Punctual- Internal and External Customer Service Focus Relational skills:-Strong Work Ethic and High Level of Integrity-Excels in a Team EnvironmentREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSTraining: Specialization in operations management, industrial mechanics or another related field.Experience: 5 to 7 years experience in production management in a manufacturing or distribution environmentLanguages: Fluent in English spokenCrevier thanks all candidates for their interest.
