is looking for a
Production Supervisor
for their facility.
Shift -
12 hour shift
Responsibilities -
As part of the Leadership Group, manage Safety and Quality Assurance Programs
Maintain compliance with all health & safety regulations, policies, and procedures
Uphold the achievement of safety targets
Ensure the products delivered meet or exceed established quality requirements
Safeguard food safety, meeting all requirements
Oversee the training and performance of Production Technicians
Drive the achievement of budgeted production volumes
Manage process control for Wet Milling, Co-Product Processing, Enzymatic Glucose Refining and Royal Production for continuous operations
Implement practical continuous improvement (kaizen) initiatives to improve safety, operating results, and sustainability
Ensure department is “audit ready” at all times; inclusive of Housekeeping, Kaizen and FSSC
Qualification -
You must have a Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma (or equivalent)
Post-secondary education in chemical or mechanical technologies /or/ a minimum of 5 years related professional experience within a food or chemical manufacturing industry
Demonstrated leadership abilities as an internal candidate/or/ 5 years in manufacturing supervisory or management position preferably in food manufacturing or a related industry.
Experience with DCS or similar process control equipment
Skillful and adaptable decision-maker, using critical analysis techniques on available information
Ability to implement change and motivate continuous improvement
Self-motivated to learn and gain a deeper understanding of plant processes
