Job Description

Position Available: Production Supervisor- Humboldt, SK- FT
Duties Include:
Providing a pragmatic hands-on approach to the leadership of employees in a Team environment, reporting to and working with the Operations Manager. You will be responsible for the planning and output of production including volume, yields and organizing. You will lead in the day-to-day production activities of the feed plant. You will oversee the areas of productivity, maintenance, quality, regulatory compliance, customer service and housekeeping issues to ensure the company goals and objectives are achieved. You will personally demonstrate your commitment to safety and develop the plant’s overall commitment to safety.
Requirements:

  • Graduated grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Extensive Knowledge of feed mill operations.
  • Minimum of 2 years Supervisory experience.
  • Exceptional leadership skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of HACCP and safety regulations and requirements.
  • Ability to prioritize and problem solve several tasks at hand, efficiently.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and applicable internet applications is an asset.
  • Experienced with inventory processes.
  • Capable of lifting 25kg bags, repetitively.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with agriculture industry experience.
