If youre passionate about leadership and driving continuous improvement, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities:Lead and oversee a team of production associates to ensure operational excellence.Collaborate closely with scheduling, maintenance, and production personnel to optimize efficiency.Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for setup and start-up changeover practices in partnership with the maintenance team.Contribute to the development of metrics to track progress and improvement efforts, actively working towards achieving targets.Foster crew engagement and participation in plant improvement initiatives, including safety meetings, 6S projects, and continuous improvement activities.Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations to enhance leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Provide or participate in training sessions as required.Collaborate with HR to develop tailored training programs, drive process improvement, resolve conflicts, ensure safety compliance, and monitor performance to achieve targets, all while fostering leadership development and effective communication.Ensure fair and consistent application of policies, rules, and collective agreements.Provide vacation coverage for shift supervisors when necessary.Undertake special projects related to production or technical matters as assigned.Requirements:Three to five years of managerial experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Self-motivated with strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team environment and contribute positively.Proficiency with MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Ready to Make Your Mark?If youre ready to take on this exciting opportunity and contribute to the teams success, we invite you to apply now!
