We work hard to achieve our targets, and we make a point of having a good time while we are doing it.www.executiveplatforms.comResponsibilities for Conference Production ManagerContacting top-level decision-making executives for speaker recruitment purposes as well as research purposesBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with speakers for future eventsIndependently managing the production of events as well as overseeing the production of team member eventsCopywriting & agenda writing, ensuring the content produced meets the needs of the key stakeholdersParticipating in and lead virtual and onsite rehearsals with speakersThoroughly debriefing and documenting completed events and projects while focusing on best practices for continuous growth and improvementKeeping up to date with current industry trends, market activities, and the competitive landscapeOverseeing the Production department including supporting the recruitment, training and ongoing mentoring of team membersCollaborating with the Senior Vice President Conference Production on performance management responsibilities of team membersReviewing current processes and identifying alternative ways to solve problems, considering both costs and benefitsCollaborating with other departments including Sales, Marketing and Operations to ensure event successQualifications for Conference Production ManagerBachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing or Communications an asset)5+ Years of Event Management experience, preference for Production experience and Speaker RecruitmentEnd-to-end understanding of live conference productionCollaborative with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skillsExcellent customer service, communication and presentation skillsAmbitious results-oriented individual with entrepreneurial driveBe highly skilled in handling multiple concurrent projectsAbility and willingness to make cold calls to senior-level executives, with excellent telephone mannerGeneral business acumen and understanding of Fortune 1000 companiesWillingness to travel to attend summits (roughly 5 per year)Experience leading a teamThings to Discuss Further During the InterviewThis position will offer the opportunity for occasional travelOur company offers above the normal starting vacation and observes US holidaysOur company is working on a hybrid model with some days in the office and some days at homeExecutive Platforms is committed to cultivating a diverse and inclusive workplace that reflects different abilities, backgrounds, beliefs, experiences, identities and perspectives.
