Assists in modifying existing software to fit specialized needs and configurations, and maintains program libraries and technical documentation. Essential duties and responsibilities: Collaborate with the user-experience specialist (UX), the system analyst and the product owner in defining user interface requirements, including technical feasibility prototyping. Comply with and document the Web development standards and best practices while ensuring the compatibility of the elements created with the supported Web browsers. Participate in the development of high performance, user oriented, extensible and scalable solutions. Contribute to the development of rich and dynamic Web interfaces. Integrate with exposed APIs of the platform and third-party applications. Perform the required unit tests and fix the defects reported by the quality control team. Use advanced techniques and innovative solutions for problem solving. Participate in collaborative research with architects and programmers of solutions and frameworks adapted to the Web development. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or at least two years’ experience in the development of modern and high-performance Web applications. Angular/AngularJS is a must. Exposure to other javascript frameworks will be an added advantage. Hands-on experience in designing responsive Web applications (JQuery, Bootstrap, MVC or MVVM, client-side modeling, etc.). Ability to adapt quickly and continuous exploration of new technologies. Bilingual (French and English). The ideal candidate should have: Experience in developing Web applications with emphasis on the user friendliness and client experience (including adaptive user interfaces). Knowledge and proficiency of Web application creation standards. Experience in establishing build processes (scripting) and deployment of Web applications (user interface). Knowledge in development based on a service-oriented architecture (SOA) and a 3-tier architecture. Knowledge with respect to Web servers and application servers. Knowledge, practical use and management of multiple Git repositories. Knowledge with respect to Javascript unit test libraries. Bilingual (English and French). In addition, you have demonstrated, in your prior work experience, the following abilities: Great autonomy and analytical mind. Excellent communication skills and collaborative interpersonal approach. Conscientiousness, good organizational ability and great adaptability.
