Product Owner - Card Payments

We at FinSANA are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic team, reporting directly to the Director of Global Payments. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping strategic initiatives that facilitates our overall portfolio of payment solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as Product Owner (PO according to Scrum/Agile methodology) for all Card payment related projects.
  • Be a key member in designing, co-owning, delivering card payment initiatives road map.
  • Act as a “bridge” between Business stakeholders, Software development, Financial Operations and most importantly, the customer.
  • Key areas of focus for this role (not exclusive):
  • Vision and Product strategy alignment for Card payment technology
  • Customer experience definition (UX/UI)
  • Prioritization and Road map management
  • Ownership of backlog items
  • Adaptability to continuous engagement and learning.
  • Feature design and exploration: Lead the charge in identifying & prioritising new product features backed by clear market research and data analysis.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Bridge the gap between departments, fostering seamless communication and collaboration across all teams.
  • Road Map commitments: Own and drive product road map related to Card payments, ensuring alignent with departmental objectives.
  • Backlog management: Curate and prioritize our product backlog based on Business Unit needs and priorities to their clients.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Effectively communicate product goals and updates to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Quality assurance: Stand in as the end user, during Quality Assurance efforts to ensure customer satisfaction for the card payment products embedded in our technology.
  • Reporting: Establish and maintain Key Performance Indicator reports (daily/weekly) specific to all Card payments products (payments, gift/rewards and loyalty) across all brands.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good knowledge of third-party payment processor functions and processes
  • Comfortable working with ERP- Accounting softwareGood knowledge of bank account reconciliation processes
  • Some understanding of Loan servicing industry
  • Bachelor’s degree (Accounting) or equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience
  • Min of 5 years experience in the field of Bank and or card processing (gift, loyalty and rewards and payments).
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good analytical & accounting abilities
  • Knowledge of accounting (industry practices)
  • Good understanding of Microsoft suite of applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
