Wherever customers are on their financial journey, Momentum Financial Services Group provides solutions. #CorporateJob Description The Product Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role to achieve our goal of being the #1 provider of convenience lending in Canada by being the storyteller of our exciting new products and/or services. The incumbent will report to the Head of Marketing with accountability to the SVP of Product and will be integral to the achievement of aggressive growth goals for the business. The successful candidate will develop and execute marketing strategies to reinforce and elevate Momentum’s position as a leading payments/financial services provider for small business owners. Success in the role will be tied to product uptake, foot traffic and cross-sell growth.JOB DESCRIPTION:Lead the marketing launch of new products, features and benefits, managing the cross-functional go-to-market implementation and merchandising.Develop a differentiated client-centric value story for products and services that is grounded in customer needs and the unique benefits and capabilities of Money Mart. Ongoing refinement of the broader positioning and messaging framework for our target sub-segments according to research findings.Guide channel marketers, retail sales, customer service, and cross-line of business partners on product marketing strategy and tactical plan.Partner closely with product and retail to optimize the end-to-end client journey and product experience, including the translation of technical product features into customer-friendly communication strategies.Partner with the digital marketing team to launch and/or optimize current and new product pages for the website.Develop breakthrough go-to-market strategies to merchandise our solutions with an omni-channel approach.Be the expert in our clients and their needs, representing the voice of the customer to cross-functional teams, influencing product development and future road mapping.Drive the market and competitive research agenda to deliver insights that shape the development of personas, refinement of customer segments, drivers of local purchasing behavior and other elements that inform business opportunities, marketing strategies.Create messaging playbooks, toolkits and materials for retail sales, trainers and marketing, ensuring everyone is equipped to successfully sell our products and services.Collaborate with product and analytics to execute product promotionsTrack and measure product / solutions marketing impact; tie back to business KPIsEXPERIENCERobust product marketing experience -- preferably in financial services, FinTech or consumer technologyStrategic thinking skills, including proven track record delivering successful GTM strategies to support new product launches.Experience developing segmentation, personas, and buying journeys that can formulate the right audience targeting for net new products/solutions and product optimizations.Ability to launch new product/solutions via digital assets with breakthrough marketing for direct response sign-ups and/or client-facing stakeholdersProven experience developing clear and compelling value propositions for solutions that clearly differentiate our offering and communicate superiority of our servicesClear and concise written and oral communication skills; excellent story-telling skills for presentations and messaging playbooks.Ability to leverage data analytics to think strategically (big picture) and connect the dots to individual tactics; desire to "roll up your sleeves" and own projects – including managing the details of project executionProven success navigating complex organizations to drive change by influencing product roadmaps and features suited for merchants in both Canada and the US.QualificationsSKILLSProactive team player with a positive, can-do attitude with excessive organizational skills.Motivated, creative, friendly, and outgoing marketer that can thrive working a fast-paced environment, ambiguous environment, with a strong willingness to learn.Ability to influence across and up the organization to drive prioritization of opportunities with partners and stakeholdersStrong emotional intelligence that drives respect and trust amongst peers and across functional teamsHighly curious with proven creative problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement to ease customer pain points; strong customer/client-centric focus as default lensPolished executive presence, track-record of flawless execution and delivering strong resultsHigh energy, solutions-driven, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and work well under pressure and tight deadlines, while always defaulting to actionStrong Excel and PowerPoint skillsEDUCATIONBachelor degree required, Master’s degree preferredAdditional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. *Notice to Ontario Applicants – Momentum Financial Services Group is committed to accommodating applicants with disabilities up to the point of undue hardship during the recruitment, assessment, and selection process.
