Job Description

Brandt is currently seeking a Product Manufacturing Analyst for our Regina, Saskatchewan location. The Product Manufacturing Analyst is responsible to develop and maintain routings and standard times for all manufactured products at Brandt and insure the standard costs of all manufacturing work centers is accurate.  This will require working with the Manufacturing Engineers, Cost Accounting, Design, Planning, and Purchasing. This position reports to the PDM Manager.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDefining production routings that result in lowest fabrication cost while allowing production to meet the prescribed tolerances.Apply standard times for the various manufacturing processes necessary to build a particular part or assembly.Work with cost accounting to maintain accurate cost regarding each work center.Participates in make/buy analyses.Responsible for processing all information released by engineering which includes Item Master Definitions, Engineering BOM’s, Engineering Change Notices to support operations at all manufacturing plants.Works with area specific Manufacturing Engineers to develop/maintain the Manufacturing BOM for each specific manufacturing plant.Responsible for communicating the planned manufacturing process to the appropriate planners, purchasers and manufacturing personal.Ensuring accuracy and completeness of all routings, standard times and work center costs.Ensure consistency of routings and standard time between manufacturing facilities.#LI-onsiteRequired SkillsExcellent organization and team collaboration skillsWell-developed written, and verbal communication skillsIn-depth knowledge of metal fabrication processesHighly analytical, with a detail focusResults orientated strong work ethicGeneral knowledge of production equipment found in a metal working facilityAbility to build rapport, establish credibility, and influence others to change.Required ExperiencePrevious experience preferred in a manufacturing environment dealing with Item Master Definitions, developing Manufacturing BOM’s & Routings, and processing Engineering Change InformationTechnical education with focus on manufacturing, manufacturing methods, and product designStrong computer skills especially with excelFamiliar with at least one MRP/ERP program is preferredExcellent organization and team collaboration skillsWell-developed written, and verbal communication skillsIn-depth knowledge of metal fabrication processesHighly analytical, with a detail focusResults orientated strong work ethicGeneral knowledge of production equipment found in a metal working facilityAbility to build rapport, establish credibility, and influence others to change.
