Job Summary – Product Manager – PET/SPECT/CT/X-ray At Scintica we are committed to advancing science by bringing new and interesting products to preclinical labs and assisting scientists with implementing these technologies into their research protocols. Our products include imaging modalities such as ultrasound, SPECT, PET, CT, MRI, optical/bioluminescence/fluorescence, DEXA, microCT, photoacoustic, and intra-vital microscopy. We also offer physiological monitoring devices to measure blood flow velocity, tissue oxygenation, and microvascular function, as well as a selection of equipment and supplies for cellular and molecular biology. We are looking for a highly organized, motivated and technically strong individual with a degree in life sciences or biomedical sciences to join our sales team as Product Manager for our PET/SPECT/CT and X-ray portfolios. This portfolio includes modalities such as PET imaging, SPECT imaging, DEXA imaging, microCT, and photon counting X-ray detection technology. Other technologies such as NMR-based echoMRI systems may also be included as a complement to the portfolio. The successful candidate must have a solid background in radiochemistry/nuclear medicine and should have a proven track record in utilizing X-ray technologies, as well as experience with bone physiology and lean/fat tissue analysis. Responsibilities: Responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to, the following: · Manage relationship between Scintica and specified manufacturer(s), including accountability for agreed sales team targets. · Plan, coordinate and moderate workshops, webinars, and other activities to promote specified product(s). · Identify sales leads and prospect potential customers for specified product(s), ensuring solid sales funnel for Territory Sales team. Gain an understanding of the competitive landscape and how to position our solutions to succeed in winning high value sales. · Enable sales team through training, generating lead lists and providing support during customer interactions, to drive optimal sales volumes of specified product(s). · Conduct in-person & virtual presentations and demonstrations of equipment. · Support Territory Sales team in building and nurturing strong customer relationships. · Identify RFP opportunities and complete bid submissions as required. · Contribute to Scintica’s marketing program and content development for specified product(s), under direction of the Director, Marketing. · Manage entire sales process for Rest of World direct customers, including issuance of quotes, opportunity creation in CRM system, and appropriate follow up activities. · Coordinate on-site installation and/or training of specified equipment. · Prepare and present quarterly reporting to manufacturing partner(s). · Maintain price lists and organize product related documents for specified product(s) (technical documents, competitive analysis, warranty & service documents, etc). · Monitor pending shipments and work closely with manufacturing partner(s) to ensure equipment meets customers’ specifications. · Foster and nurture strong relationships with Scintica’s Marketing, Finance and Territory Sales teams. Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have: A degree in the life sciences, biomedical science or engineering, cellular/molecular biology, or similar; Proven abilities in radiochemistry/nuclear medicine. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Skills and abilities that are considered a high priority include: · Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate with a scientist, as a scientist, and to understand their research. · Effective presentation skills to deliver complex information confidently, to a wide range of audiences. · Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. · Highly motivated and process oriented. · Excellent computer skills. · Can work well under pressure and manage changing priorities and timelines. · Positive professional attitude, wanting to learn from new and challenging opportunities. · Proven ability to work independently and as a team player. · Attention to detail. · Demonstrated experience in effectively leading a team. Additional qualifications: · Experience with preclinical imaging systems would be an asset. · Knowledge of rodent anatomy and physiology would be an asset. · Understanding of the modalities that Scintica represents in its product portfolio is required. · Experience with small animal practices and techniques – Animal Care and Handling, including Anesthesia would be an asset. · Previous experience in sales or customer success would be an asset. · Additional language skills are an asset.
