Innovative Food Brands Ltd. (IFB) is an independently owned company that currently oversees management and franchising of Teriyaki Experience and The Chopped Leaf. Our purpose is to create and provide an enjoyable food experience, incorporating our WOW philosophy and Core Values. Currently we are looking for a new Product Development & Supply Chain Manager to join our growing team! Reporting to the Executive Vice President, the Manager will take the lead role in all stages of the product development process from ideation through commercialization, while managing relationships with existing and potential new Supply Chain vendors. Additional various duties include: · Create a pipeline of innovative products and platforms that meet consumer taste preferences and the financial goals of the company; utilizing market insights, research, and food trends· Support marketing plans that drive new traffic, increase average ticket, or increase guest visit frequency· Continuous improvements to product formulations and current menu items, ingredients, and processes· Lead the in-store testing process to evaluate potential new food projects both permanent and Limited Time Offers· Manage nutritional analysis process and maintain up to date ingredient/allergen decks· Manage and continually monitor cost of goods and look for efficiencies while maintaining high quality standards· Manage relationships with existing Supply Chain, ensuring contracts are being followed and inventory is maintained· Negotiate vendor contracts and evaluate potential new food vendors and products· Other duties as assigned The successful application will demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:· Post secondary education in Food Science, Product Development, or culinary equivalent· Minimum of 5+ years experience working in a similar role with proof of performance on delivering established goals· QSR/Fast-Casual experience would be considered an asset· Experience working strategically with vendors with a solid network of vendors in the industry· Passion for food and innovation· Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs· Customer focused attitude· Demonstrated ability to establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships· Assertive, well organized, highly motivated self-starter; able to work independently and meet deadlines· Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills If you are interested in applying for this opportunity, please send your resume to recruitment@ifbconcepts.com.
