We specialize in rebar and have participated in many high-end projects like windmills, bridges, hospitals, sports complexes, commercial and residential buildings, and many other types of infrastructures.Reporting to the General Manager, theProcess/Production Engineer will be responsible for improving and optimizing the production process and making sure we deliver a quality product to our customers.Why Should You Join Us?Complete range of social benefits including RRSPAnnual wage increases and company bonusDynamic and friendly work environment in a constantly growing industryPhysical activity reimbursement program (600$/year)Employee assistance programJob Duties & ResponsibilitiesAnalyze KPI’s and performance data of the productionDevelop methods and plans to improve manufacturing and maintenance operationsImplement and drive continuous improvement activitiesImplement quality control procedures and methods of waste reductionMaximize manpower utilization and processesOversee all production, shipping, inventory, and maintenance issuesIdentify training needs and conduct or authorize trainingMeet daily with the IT team to improve process automationIn conjunction with Health & Safety Advisor, Initiate H&S meetings, practices, plans (modified work), etc.Schedule, delegate, and ensure plant and equipment maintenance. Follow up on maintenance logsPlan, organize and direct manufacturing and maintenance operations to ensure the most effective return on assetsRevise and submit management and performance related to the areas of responsibilitiesOversee pre-production process and scrap and remnants reductionEnsure that machines, trucks, trailers, forklifts, plant, yard, and office are in good condition and that all hauling equipment is roadworthyProcess and order materials.General SkillsBachelors degree in Process Engineering or equivalent3 to 5 years of experience in a process/production engineer rolestrong interpersonal and communication skillsability to establish strong and trusting relationships with employeesgood organizational and multitasking skillsknowledge of the concepts and tools of continuous improvement.Are you interested in this position ?
