The role of the Process Improvement Manager will support Indigo’s Supply Chain, leading continuous Improvements among Retail and Ecom distribution centers and developing frameworks, processes and structures that best support the Supply Chain's short and long-term goals and objectives. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive process mapping system and SOP creation while leveraging Lean concepts and Six Sigma methodologies to drive optimal results. Your role as a Manager is one of collaboration, innovation, inspiration, support, and coaching, and in doing so, you help to create and sustain a high-performing culture. KEY PERFORMANCE METRICS Sales revenue & Profit targets Employee Engagement score Completion of all project deliverables on scope and on time Budgeted CPU KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Functional Lead the effort to leverage best practices and standardize processes and procedures across the DC Network to support customer expectations and business objectives. Driving consistency in both our Online and Retail facilities (Process, Goals, SOPs, and Results) Apply “out of the box” innovative approaches to resolving complex problems Facilitate various leadership to employee level meetings/workshops discussing problem statements, vision and scope, and current and future state processes. Supporting and influencing by overseeing adherence to Health & Safety policies & procedures Use influence and industry knowledge to identify new opportunities for process improvements. Knowledge and experience with root cause analysis methods and principles and implementing appropriate solutions. Understand the impact of changing external environmental factors (competitive, regulatory, technical, etc.) on Indigo. Stay current on industry innovation and best practices within Supply Chain Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all design and decision-making processes Embrace and seek out technology that creates high-tech and high-touch solutions for Indigo’s customers Stakeholder Management: Establish strong partnerships with business units to foster successful continuous improvement initiatives. Model Indigo’s beliefs and convey a positive image in everything you do Celebrate the diversity of thought and have an open mindset Take an active role in fostering a culture of continual learning, taking risks without the fear of making mistakes Embrace, champion and influence change through the organization SCOPE Reports to: Sr. Director, Distribution Centers Manager once Removed (MOR): Sr. Vice President, Supply Chain KEY RELATIONSHIPS Internal: All Departments within the Online & Retail Distribution Centre Supply Chain Team Planning Team Retail Partners IT External: Transportation Vendors 3PL Vendors Equipment Vendors Qualifications Work Experience / Education / Certifications University Degree (preferably in logistics /Supply chain / Business) or equivalent job experience Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred. 7 years experience in Supply Chain Competencies / Skills / Attributes Proven ability to lead teams, drive initiatives and implement change Strong ability to communicate and influence all levels of the organization Proficient in Microsoft Office (high-level Excel / Access knowledge) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Data analysis Strong Analytical skills Knowledge of WMS is required Knowledge of SAP EWM is an asset Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a dynamic work environment The position requires a well-organized individual with high energy, practical communication skills and, of course, a passion for this business and the principle upon which it is built Available to work a flexible schedule to support various shifts Additional information At Indigo, we are committed to our communities, customers, and each other; together, we can make a positive impact.
