Aspen View Public Schools, with a division office located in the town of Athabasca, is a rural school division providing diverse and innovative programming to students in a number of communities. The division is unique in that it is surrounded by a multitude of lakes, golf courses and trails that appeal to an active, outdoor lifestyle while still being in close proximity to larger urban centers. Vilna School and the Vilna Outreach Achievement Academy (VOCAA) are located in the Hamlet of Vilna, in the County of Smoky Lake, and serve students from preschool (3 year olds) to Grade 12. We have built our strong academic focus of literacy, numeracy and self-regulation around a solid foundation of relationships and compassion. We utilize restorative practices, flexible programming, teacher advisors, a student support team including an Indigenous Graduation Counsellor, and Indigenous culture including daily smudge. Vilna School is recruiting to a full time probationary Junior High Humanities. This position will commence with the start of the 2024-2025 school year on August 26, 2024.
