Job Description

Our client, a leading international property and casualty insurance consulting and brokerage firm, is currently looking for a Private Client Account Manager to join its Montreal office. Your role:

You will develop and manage a portfolio – private clients through the organisations existing client network in other business lines. You analyse the clients needs, advise them and provide them with the insurance coverage best suited to their situation. You must constantly seek to build customer loyalty, enrich and develop them. This role is a hybrid of portfolio management and business development.

Your responsibilities:

Work with internal business partners to present the personal lines of business value proposition to stakeholders with personal risk profiles.

Build close relationships with Private Client Managers (new and existing), through all internal sources and encourage them to use a broker, or to change brokers or insurers;

Create an external network of prospects, leveraging existing business relationships in the high-net-worth sector and building new relationships with influencers, including real estate agents, wealth managers, car dealerships and anyone else connected to the luxury goods sector;

Assess the lifestyle risks of potential insureds;

Advise and recommend coverage with the highest level of integrity and expertise;

Achieve the monthly target of producing new business in an environment that promotes transparency within the client network and activities;

The keys to success related to this position:

5 to 8 years of experience in damage insurance in a similar position with a broker or insurer;

Personal lines damage insurance licence issued by the AMF;

Bilingualism essential;

Experience in proposing insurance products to meet the needs of affluent families or individuals an asset;

Experience using the EPIC customer management system; and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software;

Motivated and dynamic person

Demonstrate initiative and ability to manage your own schedule;

Demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships with affluent families or individuals;
