President and Vice-Chancellor | Capilano University

The President and Vice-Chancellor is accountable to the Board of Governors for providing overall leadership and direction to Capilano University. The President will support the Board and its mandate, and will be responsible for ensuring that the University operates within the policy and strategy framework established by the Board. The President will provide advice and counsel to the Board in all matters impacting Capilano University and will provide effective strategic and operational leadership to the faculty and staff.

The ideal candidate is known to be an inspiring educational leader, highly effective at bringing people together to focus on the vision and strategy of an organization. Truly a champion for higher education, the new President will bring a passion for students and student learning and an appreciation and respect for faculty and staff. In accordance with BC’s Pay Transparency Act, the position has an expected base salary range of $250,000 - $282,000.
