Roles and Responsibilities:
- Vice President: The Vice President will assist the President in
overseeing council activities, help plan and execute events, and serve
as a liaison between council members and the executive team. - Graphic designer: The Graphic Designer will create visually appealing
graphics and promotional materials for council events and initiatives,
ensuring a consistent and attractive brand image. - Social Media Manager: The Social Media Manager will curate and manage
the council's social media presence, engaging with the PPE community and
promoting events and news effectively. - Events Director: The Events Director will lead the planning and
execution of council events, coordinating with various teams to ensure
successful and engaging activities. - Events Coordinator: Event Coordinators will assist the Events Director
in organizing and facilitating council events, helping to manage
logistics and participant engagement. - Logistics Director: The Logistics Director will oversee the logistical
aspects of events, including venue booking, equipment setup, and
coordination with vendors to ensure smooth operations. - Merchandise Director: The Merchandise Director will be responsible for
designing and managing PPE-themed merchandise, from concept to
distribution, as a source of council revenue and pride. - Finance Director: The Finance Director will manage the council's
budget, track expenses, and help secure funding for events and
initiatives. - Peer Mentor (POLS): Peer Mentors will provide guidance and support to students in
the POLS specialization, offering advice on courses, career paths, and
academic success. - Peer Mentor (PHIL): Peer Mentors will provide guidance and support to
students in the PHIL specialization, offering advice on courses, career
paths, and academic success. - Peer Mentor (ECON): Peer Mentors will provide guidance and support to
students in the ECON specialization, offering advice on courses, career
paths, and academic success. - EDII-A Director: The EDII-A Director will lead efforts to promote
equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility within the council and
PPE community, fostering a welcoming environment for all. - Alumni and Careers Director: The Alumni and Careers Director will
facilitate connections between students and PPE alumni, organize career
development events, and help students explore post-graduation
opportunities.
