Paradigm Consulting Group is in an active growth phase and securing talented consultants is a critical component of our success. We are looking for PowerBuilder Developer to join our team. The role will be based remotely for our customer who are in Regina and Winnipeg. Kindly note candidates must reside in Canada to qualify.If you have strong PowerBuilder Development experience and feel that the responsibilities shown below describe you to a tee, we’d like to hear from you!Each requirement we receive varies, but the skillset may include:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science. Engineering or related field5 years’ experience as a Power Builder software engineer, developer, or programmerExperience in computer systems in a Windows-based environment5 years developing web applications in Power Builder5 years’ experience developing Windows Applications or Services using .NetSQL Server development experienceAgile/Scrum product development and project methodologyn-tier/distributed application dev. using web servicesObject-oriented design principlesXML and various file typesExperience with Oracle RDBMS administration and Oracle Streams is preferredExperience with Oracle Virtual Private Database is preferredExperience with reporting tools such as Crystal, Argos and MS suite of reporting tools preferredExperience with web application development, HTML, JavaScript, XML, and/or MS .NET development a plusDuties may include:Developer to handle PowerBuilder and SQL development for in-house developed complex application with solutions to meet user requirements with focus on delivery within project timelines. Design, code and test components in adherence to development standards and architecture guidelines.Responsible for developing new features and system functionalities. Execute entire life cycle from specifications through to testing for technical/back-end components and modules.Liaise with technical leads to plan and design future enhancements, translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
