You too can join the Agropur family! Our Maintenance Department is looking for a certified 4th Class Power Engineer to join the team! This is a temporary position with full-time hours that will end at the closing of the facility. How Agropur invests in YOU: Starting wage of $33.42/hourComprehensive benefit packageTools and Uniforms provided10 hour shifts4 days/week What’s involved in this Power Engineer role: Operating and maintaining the ammonia refrigeration systems within code requirementOperating and maintaining high pressure steam boilersOperating and maintaining wastewater treatment systemMonitoring and responding to plant alarms.Performing specific preventative maintenance work and lubrication tasksUpdating maintenance logs and recordsCompleting work orders as assigned by Chief EngineerWorking with others to plan and coordinate the completion of work.Performing building maintenance tasks throughout the facility as neededProviding a high level of customer service through a proactive approach to daily plant problems and issuesDriving innovation and continuous improvement, utilizing his/her skills, observations, and participationEnsuring all maintenance work is conducted within Safety, Food Safety, and Product Quality fundamental requirements What you need to join our Winnipeg team: 4th Class Power Engineer CertificateBasic electrical and mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills are preferred.Must be physically fit with a good attendance and personal safety record.Proven ability to work with minimal supervision and as a team memberAbility to maintain a clean and safe workplaceGood written and oral communication skills essential The successful candidate must be willing to work night shifts including weekend shifts.
