Job Description:

Position: Power Engineer

Experience: 2+ years on-site experience, preferably in a data centre

Location: Winnipeg

Salary: Up to $65,000 per year

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the control of base building equipment and systems
2. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs
3. Manage tenant work order requests
4. Comply with Health and Safety policies

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience in commercial property management operations
• Knowledge of Building HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, BAS Systems, and Life Safety Systems
• 5th class power engineering license or BES certifications
• Valid driver's license
• Collaborative & team-oriented personality
• Passion for sustainability and energy management
• Criminal record check and background check

Shifts:

The shifts are a 40-hour average over 4 weeks rotation:

1. Mon to Fri days 5:30 am to 1 pm
2. Mon to Fri days 7 am to 3 pm
3. Mon, Tues, Wed 1 pm to 10 pm, Thur & Fri off, Sat 6 am to 6 pm
4. Sun 6 am to 6 pm off, Mon to Fri 12:30 pm to 10 pm

Additional Information:

Data Center is a ~65,000 sq ft facility operational 24/7. The selected candidate must be willing to work within a rotation schedule and share on-call duties.
