Endeavour Group demerged from Woolworths in 2021 and as part of the transition is taking the opportunity to transform how we operate as an independent business and establish supporting technology.

The PMO Analyst (Momentum) will work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure the timely and successful completion of projects. The PMO Analyst will be responsible for organising and coordinating project management forums, meeting cadences, communicating with stakeholders, and tracking project progress, and providing some administrative support.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

  • Assist with providing a single, standard set of tools and methodologies that are fit-for-purpose to support the execution and governance of programs and projects
  • Program/Project communications support, including organising workshops, documenting meeting minutes, induction sessions, training sessions, onboarding sessions, and development of presentation documents
  • Provide a focal point to promote the use and benefits of the program or project management method, giving a consistent and common approach - develop and lead collaborative learning forums
  • Manage the project funding and change control submissions forward agenda
  • Review completed programs and projects to distill good practice and note any factors that necessarily adversely affect duration or outcome of a program / project so that they can be avoided in future. Custodian of Knowledge Management Repository
  • Ensuring the maintenance of the key control registers for program including issues, risks, dependencies, key decisions, assumptions and change
  • Assist with providing standards for Project Assurance e.g. Health Check
  • Collaborate with project team members to ensure project goals are met.
  • Document processes required by the PMO such as onboarding.
  • Ensure the maintenance of auditable knowledge repository of project/program artefacts
  • Manage ongoing and upcoming resource requirements of the Program
  • Liaise with Hiring Manager on new requests/requirements
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies during the hiring process for contractors, including advertising roles, submitting candidate information to hiring manager, coordinate interviews, conduct interviews (as required), and communicate onboarding with agencies
  • Onboarding new starters to Endeavour systems (SuccessFactors, SmartSheets, Google Drive, Program forums) and provided initial introduction to Program/Endeavour

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a PMO Analyst or similar role
  • Relevant undergraduate qualifications
  • Retail and/or FMCG experience (desirable)
  • Experience in project management - preferred
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Proficient in the use of applications including but not limited to presentation, spreadsheet, and word processing applications.
