Job Description

Company Overview Office Location: Norman Wells, NWT, Canada. Contract Duration: 12 Months. 14 / 14 FIFO. Language: English. Key Responsibilities: As a Plant Operatoryou will work in a operations small team; expected to adhere to all safety, health and environment policies and procedures. Maximizing production through daily oversight of plant equipment performance, while maintaining compliance with all associated regulatory controls The rotation is a fly-in/fly-out position to Norman Wells from Edmonton on a 14/14 day rotation (12 hr/day or 12 hr/night). Ensure plant equipment is operated safely/efficiently and maintained through structured surveillance rounds. You will effectively utilize reporting, communication and planning processes to manage work related duties. Consistently work in a safe manner and manage the safety of the unit. Utilize a proactive approach for troubleshooting and identifying maintenance issues of the operating unit. Complete minor maintenance as required. Ensure equipment lockout processes are utilized to ensure equipment is safe for maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate Valid drivers license and a safe driving record are required for this position Gas plant experience desired Strong troubleshooting, planning, coordination and supervisory skills Working knowledge of Excel, MS Word, Outlook Preference given to applicants with previous Norman Wellsexperience.
