Our Head Office is in Markham, Ontario, with additional manufacturing facilities in Los Angeles, South Korea and China.This North American opportunity, based in Markham ON, Canada, is truly unique and one that can take your career to the next level.The Plant Manager is responsible for the efficient operation and oversight of the production team at our Markham facility. This role involves managing the production floor to ensure schedules are met safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively, while maintaining high-quality standards. The Plant Manager will develop and train staff, prepare capacity plans, create and monitor KPIs, and develop operational SOPs.Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee production, planning, execution, and quality control operations.Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules and labor plans using ERP and Microsoft Excel.Lead daily and weekly production meetings with production staff and customer success teams.Supervise employees to ensure production schedules are met, adhering to established standards and objectives.Train operators to meet safety and quality standards.Materials Management - oversee the receiving of raw materials and the transfer of finished goods to the required departments.Health & Safety: Ensure all Health & Safety and QC/QA policies and procedures are understood and followed.Develop and implement procedures to improve production efficiencies and train personnel. Lead and initiate continuous improvement initiatives.Mentor and develop direct reports, conduct performance reviews, and establish goals and objectives aligned with organizational focus. Identify and develop marginal performers and carry out corrective actions in conjunction with Human Resources.5S Standards: Develop and maintain 5S standards, ensuring timely audits and implementation of corrective actions.Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations and ensure the open-door policy is observed.Leadership Responsibilities:Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems; and manage employee terminations.Lead teams with the goal of developing self-directed work teams.Operate with autonomy, demonstrating a proactive and self-starting approach.Qualifications:Education: Degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or Business Management.Experience: 5-7 years in a supervisory role with a proven track record of progression.Skills: Strong data analysis skills, mechanical or electronic aptitude, and sound business management skills.Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Knowledge: Strong production knowledge, lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, KANBAN), and analytical and mathematical skills.Physical Requirements: Ability to handle heavy lifting (up to 50-60lbs) and stand for long hours.What We Offer:A challenging and rewarding role in a dynamic and growing company.Opportunities for professional growth and development.A supportive team environment and a culture of innovation.Competitive salary based on experience and benefits package.Foster a culture of mutual respect, innovation, and pride.Communicate openly, honestly and frequently (no BS).Value the full involvement of and input of all employees.Provide clean, safe and ethical work environment.Establish clear accountability and provide the authority to achieve goals.Encourage calculated risks and reward success.Do more with less.Diversity and Equal Opportunity EmploymentOmnify is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
