We are searching for a results driven individual who can build a team of motivated high performers in a fact-paced manufacturing operations.Job duties include but is not limited to:Plan, organize, control and evaluate daily operations;Oversees all manufacturing activities of the plant;Operating within budgetary guidelines;Maintains optimum operation by assigning manpower resources efficiently and effectively;Drive the production schedules to meet customers’ requirements, reviews waste, quality deficiencies reports and identify areas for improvements;Develop and executes solutions for various manufacturing issues;Enforces all quality, health and safety and company policies and procedures;Monitor all equipment and ensure repairs takes place as needed and plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work.Manage daily issues and concerns from internal and external customers and collaborate with the team to develop solutions and corrective actions.Conduct performance reviews for direct reports identifying achievements and areas requiring improvement and follows through on action items for development and/or improvement.Comply with and oversee the application of procedures necessary for ensuring the production of quality labels in accordance with customer specification and on-time delivery.Leads and champions the health and safety programSkills and Knowledge requirement:Must possess a university degree and 5-7 years plant management experience in a similar industry;Experience with budgeting and sound understanding of financial operations management;Leadership skills to tactfully motivate employees for continual efficient operation of the plant;Expertise in continuous improvement and knowledge of systematic problem solving processes (e.g. Lean);Understanding of problem-solving skills to quickly ascertain a situation and be decisive in solving it;Proven track record in improving employee performance and achieving KPI’s;Excellent communication skills to be able to tactfully speak with personnel at all levels of the organization;Time management and organization skills required to meet production deadlines, shipping dates and projects;Must possess a sense of urgency.Fluent with Microsoft suite and ERP systems.
