Plant Engineer Job In London

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years or equivalent experience

Tasks

1. Conduct performance reviews
2. Conduct studies to determine optimum inventory levels and utilization of machinery and resources
3. Design manufacturing systems to optimize the use of computer networks, robots and materials
4. Develop performance standards
5. Develop wage and incentive programs
6. Draw facility's building, equipment and major components
7. Evaluate or assess industrial facilities to ensure that all opportunities for improvement have been explored
8. Find ways to eliminate wastefulness in production processes
9. Implement programs on optimum inventory levels
10. Plan plant layouts and facilities
11. Supervise technicians, technologists, analysts, administrative staff and other engineers
12. Develop flexible or integrated manufacturing systems and procedures
13. Analyze costs of production
14. Design and conduct time studies and work simplification programs
15. Conduct studies on the reliability and performance of plant facilities
16. Assess industrial facilities
17. Establish programs and conduct studies to enhance industrial health and safety or to identify and correct fire and other hazards
18. Develop maintenance standards, schedules and programs
19. Assess business opportunities and develop strategies

Supervision: 5-10 people

Computer and technology knowledge

1. Computer-aided design (CAD)
2. MS Office

Area of work experience: Business administration/management, Operations or production

Manufacturing sector experience in: Food

Area of specialization: Production system

Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel internationally
