Adecco is currently seeking full-time Pipefitters to join our esteemed client in Halifax, NS. This long-term, full-time project offers opportunities for Leave of Absence (LOA) and travel. To be eligible for these positions, candidates must be graduates of a steel fabrication program and have previous experience in a similar role. If you meet these qualifications, we encourage you to apply now!Shifts & Pay Rate:Day Shift: $43.00 per hour (7am - 3:30pm)Night Shift: $3.00 per hour shift premium (12am - 7:30pm)Back Shift: $3.00 per hour shift premium (5pm - 1am)Job type: Full-time |Long-Term ContractAdditional Overtime offeredLOA: $135Travel: $220 weekly, if 80 km away from locationOne time Travel Pay: $600Duties and Responsibilities:Read and interpret shop drawings including welding symbolsCut, weld andfit stainless and aluminum pipeInstall valves and metering equipmentOperate band saws, water saws, drills, grinders, impact guns etc.Perform custom piping layout with and without drawingsRequirements and Qualifications:Eligible to work in Canada and resided in Canada for 5 yearsGraduate of a steel fabrication programAbility to pass a pre-employment Government Security Clearance/Background and Credit checkFull PPE and Fit Tested Respirator Mask requiredAbility to handle, lift, carry, and set up parts and equipment weighing up to 50lbs or moreComfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in inclement weatherWillingness to support extended hours and overtime as neededDaily commute to work requiredDon’t miss out on this Pipefitter job opportunities in Halifax, NS.
