As part of a dynamic and dedicated team, as the PhysicalExercise Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a veryhighly motivated and professional clientele who are eager to return toduty and improve their condition. Daily, you will lead reconditioningprograms for Canadian Armed Forces members who may be affected withmedical conditions and improve their functional abilities related totheir physical limitations.
As the Physical ExerciseSpecialist, you will specifically oversee the implementation of theAircrew Conditioning Program. The Aircrew Conditioning Program is ajoint initiative of the Canadian Forces Health Services Group,Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services, Defense Research andDevelopment Canada, and the Royal Canadian Air Force. The AircrewConditioning Program consists of supervised and comprehensiveexercises that target strength, cardio, mobility, core and neckmuscles, and is a proactive program that can improve the physicalhealth and performance of Air Force pilots throughout their careers.

Otherstakeholders will be at your disposal to ensure a client’s successfulreturn to duty.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Human Kinetics,Exercise Physiology, Exercise Sciences or in a related field
Current Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP) certification fromthe Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP)
CurrentCPR and Basic First Aid qualifications
Experience
In developing, implementing and delivering physicalfitness programs
In preparing and conducting physical fitnesstraining sessions
In communications for professional andpublic audiences
In the delivery of adult education andfacilitation of workshops
In applying policies, procedures,and regulations
Competencies, Skills and Abilities
Client focus, organizational knowledge,communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTSEnglishEssential / Bilingual (English and French) an asset
