Job Description

The Australian Childhood Foundation is a recognised charity which has established a strong reputation over the past 35 years for delivering specialist counselling and training services that support abused children, carers and their families.

The Foundation is currently driving a number of national fundraising activities to generate financial and community support for the prevention of abuse and the exploitation of children and young people. This role will help to ensure the continued fundraising growth supporting the foundation’s financial capacity to deliver services as an autonomous not for profit organisation.

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced relationship builder to help develop our mid-level donor and bequest fundraising. This hybrid role is part of the Partnerships, Fundraising and Marketing Team and will implement a range of strategies to increase our revenue through acquiring new donors, engaging existing donors, and improving the quality of our data and processes. The successful applicant will enjoy using data to find new opportunities and love communicating with our very special supporters. Applicants from outside the fundraising industry will be considered if they have equivalent experience.

About You/Key Selection Criteria:

2 years’ experience delivering a bequests, major or mid-level donor program or; 2 years' experience in a relationship building role, with exposure to a CRM database such as Salesforce; to support, plan and analyse data. An appropriate qualification or relevant experience suited to fundraising or related disciplines. Excellent organisational skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with shifting and short deadlines. Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated success working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. A collaborative and positive working style. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop reports and presentations. A proactive self-starter who thrives on finding innovative methods to reach a variety of audiences and can work independently. A current National Criminal History Check & Working with Children Check. Desirable

Knowledge and experience with Salesforce. Experience in the not-for-profit industry A current driver’s licence or equivalent and capacity to undertake occasional intra and interstate travel, necessitating occasional overnight absences, if required. Remuneration & Benefits:
