Pharmacy Technician Specialist - Eastpark Medical Center - 30624
Work Schedule: Day/Evening Shifts. Hour options available between 24 hours per week and 40 hours per week. Hours vary 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday - Friday. Saturdays will be required on a rotation 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. You will work at Eastpark Medical Center in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
Pay: External hires may be eligible for up to a $3000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).

The ideal candidate will have sterile compounding or hazardous drug compounding experience. Experience performing in a fast-paced and high-volume environment preferred.

Education: Minimum - High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred - Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program.
Work Experience: Minimum - Six (6) months experience as a pharmacy technician or completion of accredited pharmacy technician training program.
Licenses and Certifications: Minimum - As defined by the enactment of 2021 WI Act 100, all candidates hired into this role on or after March 1, 2023, must apply for registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the WI Dept of Safety and Professional Services ("DSPS"), and provide proof of application to their UW Health Recruiter prior to their start date. Failure to do so will result in delay of start date or withdrawal of offer. Current incumbents or those starting in an impacted role prior to March 1, 2023, are required to provide proof of application to their department designee no later than March 31, 2023. Preferred - Certified Pharmacy Technician.
