Pharmacist-Medi Center Prince Albert, SK, Canada Req #358 Monday, April 15, 2024 Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for part-time pharmacist to join our Medi-Center Pharmacy location, In Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Medi Center is a clinic style pharmacy located in a large medical building with over 20 doctors, optometrists, orthodontists, and a full SHA lab facility. This store has a large staff of over 10 pharmacists and 15 assistants which allows a ton of flexibility in your schedule and the ability to have time off for the events that are important to you. This pharmacy does a large volume of acute care prescriptions and services two large prisons which entails compliance packaging and amazing collaborative working relationships with a number of nurses. Medi Center is also the main Opioid Agonist Therapy (OAT) store in Prince Albert. It has a Board-Certified HIV pharmacist on staff too! This store has a lot of fun together, join the team today! Up to 40 hrs / week Patient Focused Care Responsibilities: The Pharmacist is responsible for providing safe, effective, and appropriate drug therapy and actively contributes to an environment of employee and customer engagement. The Pharmacist will play a key role in achieving departmental excellence in the areas of patient focused care, customer service and workflow efficiencies. Focus on clinical services (, medication reviews, disease state management) Initiate care plans, follow up and document Administer vaccines Determine appropriateness of drug therapy Monitor medication adherence Collect and document relevant patient, drug, and disease information Recommend OTC products and vitamins Answer questions from patients that require therapeutic knowledge, clinical analysis, or assessment Supervise a pharmacy student or a provisional pharmacist in the performance of restricted activities Other duties as required Qualifications & Skills: Experience in Kroll Experience working in a retail environment Good communication skills (both oral and written) Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as within a team What we Offer: Competitive compensation !!BONUS!!
