The services provided will be detailed in the personalized care plan. Compass Homecare is currently recruiting for Personal Support Workers (PSW's) in Vaughan (Maple, Woodbridge, Concord).ResponsibilitiesAssist clients and patients with personal care, activities of daily living, meal preparation, light housekeeping and light laundry.Accompany clients on outings, appointments, shopping, errands where applicable.Provide companionship to clients and patientsRespite for familiesDaily documentation and charting in electronic chartQualificationsAble to proficiently communicate in English (verbal and written)Ability to speak other languages is considered an assetAbility to travel to and from clients by transit or by carPersonal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (HCA, RPN, RN, foreign-trained healthcare professional)Previous experience working as a PSW is an assetAccess to internet/mobile phoneNegative TB skin test or chest x-rayCurrent CPR and First Aid CertificateVulnerable Sector Screen or recent Police Clearance CertificateWe will only hire employees who can provide proof of full vaccination to Covid-19Thank you for applying to Compass Homecare.
