Role Summary: As the Time and AttendanceManagement Lead, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing time and attendance processes for our client's Canada and US Divisions. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of payroll processing, contributing to the seamless operation of our client's workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain time and attendance policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the processing of employee time and attendance records, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness in payroll processing.
  • Collaborate closely with HR and payroll teams to resolve discrepancies and provide guidance and support.
  • Lead and supervise a team of time and attendance specialists.
  • Design and implement training programs for employees and managers on time and attendance policies and procedures.
  • Analyze time and attendance data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
  • Work with IT teams to implement and maintain time and attendance systems and software.
  • Provide management with reports on time and attendance metrics as required.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in time and attendance management.

Key Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in time and attendance management.
  • Proficiency with Ceridian Dayforce is essential.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations.
  • Experience with time and attendance systems and software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Superior planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proven track record of maintaining sensitive and confidential information.
  • Advanced Excel skills for reporting, metrics, and data validation.
  • Ability to cultivate effective working relationships internally and externally.
  • Experience leading teams through transition and efficiency processes.
