Position Description:
In this strategic role, the Business Engagement Partner is at the heart of our mission to modernize McKesson Canada's critical systems. By working closely with the main stakeholders in the supply chain and ERP systems, you will understand their goals and challenges to propose innovative technological solutions. You will play a key role in defining the IT roadmap and investment portfolio, ensuring the execution of all IT priorities defined in collaboration with your business stakeholders.
Your expertise, combining business acumen of supply chain and knowledge of industry trends, will enable you to deliver innovative technology solutions to our senior leadership team. With an executive presence, you will be the primary IT liaison for vice presidents and above, becoming their single point of contact for all IT-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversees the business unit portfolio process, ensuring its ongoing relevance.
Acts as Portfolio Manager as needed, defining and driving governance processes between Management Team (MT) and business units (BU), ensuring transparency and visibility into project team performance.
Utilizes extensive knowledge of the company's product/service offerings and competitive landscape to identify new growth opportunities, technologies, and emerging products/services.
Leads the business case development for optimizing existing service/solutions or developing next-generation products.
Manages IT demand and portfolio, leading discussions on prioritization to balance business needs and IT constraints.
Collaborates with and oversees teams responsible for defining product/service requirements, specifications, and development roadmaps to align with portfolio and corporate strategy priorities.
Serves as the interface between business units and MT, coordinating across capabilities to meet business objectives.
Translates business requirements into MT requirements and vice versa, ensuring alignment with relevant capabilities and solutions.
Provides day-to-day support to ensure timely resolution of issues in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).
Provides day to day support ensuring issues are allocated and resolved in line with SLAs
Advocates for local business functions in relation to Management Team (MT) capabilities.
Ensures end-to-end business processes supported by MT are stable and optimized.
Manages and optimizes the total cost of ownership of IT services within their business segment, in alignment with solutions teams.
Acts as an escalation point for critical P1/P2 issues to minimize their impact on business operations.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have a solid track record, a diverse and broad technology experience and general technology acumen is expected. While a strong technical foundation is desired, the IT Lead, must bring well-rounded business acumen and global perspective to effectively engage and work with the senior management team and key stakeholders. As a result, experience in business partner roles is ideally suited for the challenge. Past experiences in development of ERP transformation roadmap and integrating disparate platforms in a complex, global business environment is important.
10+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, finance, distribution operations, life sciences and/or customer operations.
Effective leadership, training, presentation skills and experience leading multiple, highly diverse teams to achieve/deliver results.
Leadership experience and proven ability to collaborate and influence decisions at SVP and/or business units president level.

Par conséquent, une expérience dans des rôles de partenaire commercial est idéalement adaptée au défi.
