The Spa Associate is the first face and voice of Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa for our clients. Spa Associates are responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our clients. Spa Associates will greet, check in/check out and confirm scheduled services for clients and are expected to be knowledgeable about all spa treatments, services, products and membership programs. Qualified candidates must be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.What you can look forward to in Benefits & Perks: Competitive pay structure that includes hourly wage, commission and incentivesHealth Insurance available as benefit if minimum hours metFlexible Schedule to fit your life with consistencyProfessional clean work environmentEngaging, friendly and supportive teamUniforms providedPPE providedRESPONSIBILITIES Welcome and acknowledge each and every client with a smile, eye contact and a friendly verbal greeting using the client’s name when possibleAnswer, record, and process all client calls, requests, questions, or concerns; follow up to ensure each has been met to clients’ satisfactionSchedule services for individuals and large groups using spa reservation systemUpdate the reservation/cancellations list throughout the day, inform providers of last-minute changes and resolve scheduling issues as neededMulti-task between answering phones, booking appointments and selling memberships, gift cards and upgradesProcess client check-ins by confirming reservations and assigning RMT or EstheticianProcess check-outs including resolving any late and disputed chargesProcess payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, charges, and provide changeAddress client concerns, requests, or issues either individually or by enlisting the help of othersSpeak with clients using clear and professional language and answer telephones using appropriate etiquetteCompliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the health and safety programOther duties as assignedKEY QUALIFICATIONS Ability to communicate effectively with clients and associatesPolite, courteous and bright telephone mannerSelf-motivated, mature and reliableFriendly and approachableSales focused - the ability to meet quotas and goalsPrevious salon/spa or reception experience an assetProven fluency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and expert proficiency in computer keyboarding skillsAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidaysAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentIf this sounds amazing and you're passionate about growing your career, we look forward to speaking with you.
