Part-Time Senior Level English Teacher/Tutor WantedDo you love to help students succeed in English?We are currently seeking a part-timeSenior level English tutorfor a role in our learning centre atOxford Learning Richmond Hill - Oak Ridges. This position is perfect for anyone who loves working with students, enjoys teaching the ins and outs of language and is passionate about helping others build their skills inthese areas.Tutor-teachers at Oxford Learningdo nothave to lesson plan before class, as all lessons are pre-planned. Applicants will be fully trained in our proprietary philosophy and methods.Position RequirementsAll Teacher-Tutors at Oxford Learning work during after-school and evening hours on weekdays (3:30pm - 8:00pm) as well as some Saturdays(9:30am - 2:00pm). A commitment until the end of the schoolyear is preferred. Your students will love working with you, and being reliable is a must.This role is in-person. You must be able to commute to this location. This is not an online position. Relocation packages are not available.Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.We encourage you to apply if you have the following requirements:Education:Bachelor’s degree in English majorUniversity students pursuing English major degree will be consideredTeaching certification an assetGood knowledge of the current school curriculumExperience:Strong English written and oral communication skills and ability to guide students understandingExperience teaching/tutoring English at higher gradesAbility to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a timeResponsibilities (Position Details)You will work directly with students as an Interactive Coach with the following responsibilities:Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levelsFollowing the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophiesFilling in post-lesson notesCompleting daily student communication updatesMaintaining a friendly and professional manner at all timesSmiles, High-Fives & Happy StudentsIn this position, you will play a key role in helping students develop their self-confidence and self-esteem.
