Human Resources Business Partner- part-time contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Business Partner to join our team on a part-time contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management, providing HR guidance and implementing HR strategies to support organizational goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Quebec provincial legislation as it relates to Human Resources standard practices.
What you will be doing:
- Review the company's draft policy booklet. Make changes or recommendations.
- Administration of the company's group insurance provider (DPSP)
- Maintain employee benefit files & act on behalf of employees. Provide experience and support.
- Maintain CNESST best practices and keep the company's managers and employees (approximately 40 people) in compliance.
- Educate leadership team on HR policies
- Understand current and future business needs in partnership with management
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business strategy
- Support current and future business needs through human capital development, engagement, motivation and retention
- Provide professional advice to management on human resources issues
- Ensure legal compliance in all aspects of human resource management
- Other HR related duties as assigned.
- Skills:
- Strong background in Human Resources Management.
- Proficiency in HR systems.
- Knowledge of budgeting processes related to HR functions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships with employees.
