City Experiences is seeking a Parking Attendant for our City Cruises operation in Gananoque. About You: This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences’ RESPECT Service System. About the Opportunity: The Parking Attendant will perform a variety of tasks to ensure a smooth operation of the parking facility. The Parking Attendant will monitor the parking facility, ensure vehicles are parked and moving safely and responding to guest inquiries. Complimentary Cruise Tickets & Uniforms Crew Recognition Awards Crew Referral Program - up to $ per referral Crew Events Paid Training Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Ensures that daily floats are secured safely and balance at the end of the shift Patrols parking lot to ensure parking rules are enforced Receives and records payment using POS system Informs management of malfunctioning equipment Monitors equipment condition of parking gates Provides traffic control, when necessary Immediately report any accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Dock Manager Provides exceptional customer service and assist guests with questions or concerns and relay information to Dock Manager Follows all safety policies, departmental policies, and service standards Adheres to all health and safety regulations Additional job duties as assigned Requirements & Qualifications: or equivalent as recognized by the Ministry of Education Must be able to effectively understand and convey written and verbal information to guests and coworkers Must possess a service orientation – actively looking for ways to help others Energetic and enthusiastic personality essential Will work for extended periods of time without sitting Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, pull, move or lift up to 40 lbs (18 kgs) Will be required to be available for work on all major holidays Required to wear assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) ( non-slip shoes, gloves, weather appropriate dress attire, sun protection) About Us: City Experiences’ passion is to provide amazing experiences on land and water.
