THE OPPORTUNITY

Our Sales Representative team is critical to our ongoing growth! In this role you will execute on sales strategy, expertly identify potential new sales targets within the produce and greenhouse segment, share our value proposition through identification of customer needs and communicate unique, custom-tailored solutions that generates sales and profit growth. You will work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment where you will create positive customer experiences that result in repeat business.


This role will initially spend the majority of the time in our Kingsville facility for training and to prepare you to be successful in this role. Post training, you will spend 50 - 70% of your time out in the field selling to new and existing customers, the remainder of the time you will report into the Kingsville facility.


DAY-TO-DAY

  • Increases revenue and profitability through the generation of new business and further development of existing accounts.
  • Generates new leads by networking, cold calling, and researching various directories and internet sites.
  • Execute sales initiatives to grow sales and profitability within existing accounts
  • Advise clients on methods to establish a sustainable packaging supply chain
  • Develop an understanding of complex requirement from customers for preparation of packaging solutions
  • Educate clients on the latest innovations within our industry


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE


  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, professional sales, quality management, industrial engineering, or a field closely related to it is preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in sales or marketing with business-to-business sales experience in the produce industry
  • Strong Excel skills for heavy spreadsheet use in tracking, reporting, and following up.
  • Strong organization skills that allow the Associate Account Manager to be aware of all
  • sales and operations in real-time.
  • Multitasking with ease is a must, as well as operating independently.
  • A strong customer service orientation with a desire to make contributions that solve
  • problems and assist customers in meeting their business needs.
  • Strong communication skills with a problem-solving orientation.
  • An ability to pleasantly influence all parts of the supply chain to deliver accurate
  • shipments on time.
  • Ability and willingness to use your personal vehicle (with an allowance offered for use) , along with a valid Driver's License
