The Outreach Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management and operations of programs and services in consultation with the Coordinator of Outreach Services while ensuring a healthy and safe environment. This position is one of direct support and requires the incumbent to provide all necessary assistance to the members including emotional and physical support along with crisis intervention during their schedule shift. This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week. Work schedule varies. Education, Qualifications and Certifications:
  • The successful job applicant will have completed Community College diploma/ University degree or equivalent experience in a community – based facility, preferably in some field of disabilities.
  • Valid Manitoba Class V driver license and access to a personal vehicle
  • Criminal record check
  • Child Abuse Registry check
  • Adult Abuse Registry check
  • Acceptable Driver’s Abstract
Experience and Skilled Knowledge Requirements
  • Suitable candidates should have at least two years’ experience in developmental services. Experience in the field of disabilities (will be considered an asset).
