We are searching for an Outreach Coordinator to join our team based in Miramichi, New Brunswick.

About the Opportunity

• Successfully operates Community Programs including Lifeline Medical Alert, Adult Day and Meals on Wheels;

• Coordinates and collaborates with staff and volunteers to ensure resident and family program expectations and needs are being met;

• Consults with various public and private stakeholder groups and community agencies to establish and maintain partnerships to support community services;

• Administers the operating budget and other pertinent financial requirements for community programs;

• Works with community partners to source and maintain healthy volunteer pool for Meal on Wheels program;

• Maintain schedules for outreach staff to ensure coverage for outreach services;

• Demonstrates effective communication strategies and skills when relating to clients, team members and volunteers.


About You

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

• Post-Secondary Education diploma preferably in Business Administration.

• Valid Food Safety Certification, or willing to obtain one;

• Class 4 Driver’s license required for Adult Day client bus transportation;

• Previous experience supervising or managing staff and/or volunteers;

• Previous experience in the delivery of community support services;

• Valid First Aid & CPR Certification is an asset;

• Bilingualism in English and French is an asset;

• Previous experience working in long term care or with seniors is an asset;

• A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
