RECRUITMENT & ENROLMENT
UNB's Recruitment and Enrolment Office works to create great relationships and experiences for all those applying to and enrolling at the university. The office consists of domestic and international recruitment teams, an embedded communications and marketing team, the CRM analytics and support team as well as the undergraduate awards office. Collaborating with faculties and departments across the university, Recruitment and Enrolment grows the university and searches for new ways to bring the opportunity to study at UNB to Canada and the world.

WHAT WE OFFER

Full-time | 1-Year Term | Fredericton |On-Campus

Standard Work hours: Mon - Fri | 8:00 am - 4:00 pm | 36.25 hours per week

Salary Range: $44,904 - $56,128 per annum as of July 1, 2024

YOUR FOCUS

Reporting to the Manager, Communication & Conversion, the Outreach, Communication & Recruitment Officer is responsible for the management and execution of a faculty-focused recruitment communication and marketing plan to attract, recruit and convert domestic and international students (undergraduate and graduate) to UNB.

  • Develop and execute designated faculty communications plans for prospective students, and applicants.
  • Encourage movement through the recruitment funnel and highlight faculties and programs.
  • Collaborate with UNB faculties to develop informative and engaging content for Student Recruitment's digital, social, email marketing and print campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Student Recruitment team to ensure UNB programs are being highlighted and represented in relevant ways.
  • Curate and edit content for delivery by email, including automated faculty campaigns.
  • Expand each faculty campaign to include multi-step plans and value-added content.
  • Assist in the development, building, implementation and monitoring of text message communication campaign workflows.
  • Aid in the maintenance and development of recruitment-owned faculty & program web resources.
  • Conduct regular content audits of program pages and write new web content to ensure all information is displayed in an informative and appropriate manner.
  • Collaborate with faculties and departments for in-person and virtual recruitment events.
  • Meet with faculty recruiters and representatives to ensure the organization of messaging, creative assets, and scheduling.
  • Support faculties & departments in their independent outreach efforts.
  • Research other universities and maintain an understanding of competition in the marketplace.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • University degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in marketing, copywriting, publication production and project management or a related field.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Additional Strengths

  • Experience with digital marketing would be an asset.
  • Existing knowledge of UNB and its program offering is considered a strong asset.
  • Ability to work effectively on cross-function and virtual teams, as well as independently.
  • Strong copywriting skills.
  • Able to deliver top-quality written communications to a wide variety of audiences and across multiple channels.
  • Knowledge of some or all the following software/technologies is considered a strong asset: web content management system, graphic design, HTML and social media.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to address situations with tact, diplomacy, and professionalism.
  • Strong computing skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
