Position Overview:

This position will report into the CIS Manager and be responsible for the following.

  • The primary role responsibility is to significantly influence and increase Dentsply Sirona’s commercial activities across the SureSmile product portfolio and to ensure the sales and revenue targets are met in line with Dentsply Sirona’s objectives and local utilization goals.
  • Responsible for working with GP Aligner, SureSmile Ortho and SureSmile Advanced practices to proactively support and drive SureSmile Product Utilization.
  • Responsible for Doctor software training as a part of the Ortho implementation process for assigned US SureSmile Platform practices, as well as staff training support as requested, to drive SureSmile product utilization to meet and exceed local territory goals.
  • Responsible as needed to engage with SureSmile Customer Care, GBS and DS Digital Lab to assist or give background points to assist SureSmile Clients to trouble shoot issues to a reasonable conclusion.
  • Primary responsibilities for this job include but are not limited to the following.
    • Area expert for SureSmile Software and training on all products and services contained.
    • Area expert for SureSmile Implementation process points for GP Dentist and Orthodontic professionals
    • Area expert (Level 3) for SureSmile Platforms to include the below with emphasis on Aligner Products
      • GP Aligner
      • SureSmile Ortho
      • SureSmile Advanced
    • Local CIS lead for IDB training support in office.
    • Local CIS Lead for SureSmile Advanced Practices in geography, live quarterly visits as appropriate.
    • Be able to lead Staff level 1 training and Doctor level 1 training in SureSmile Advanced Offices
    • Support training of SureSmile Advanced Wire Insertion training techniques as requested.
    • Dental School Program training support as directed.
    • Weekly Planning and reviewing practice utilization metrics.
    • Assist with internal and external training needs as directed.
    • Initial and ongoing Practice Data Collection Metrics for outcomes assessment
    • On Site and Distance Training / Problem Solving
    • Other duties and responsibilities not specifically described may be assigned from time to time at supervisor’s discretion.
  • Expected average of 10% Overnight travel Monthly, depending on customers and national projects can vary.
  • The Ortho CIS will support the commercial organization through frequent collaboration with Procedural Solutions, to consult to increase sales, deliver innovative programs, tools, and training deliverables.
  • The Ortho CIS will interact with Procedural Solutions team to give feedback on mutually beneficial solutions regarding Client and Sales Team needs with Sales Ops, Customer Care, GBS Group, Digital Lab, Engineering, Shipping, and the Product Group Trainers.
  • The Ortho CIS will work with Procedural Solutions and Clinical Affairs for support with Alpha and Beta Testing for SureSmile Software upgrades in targeted GP Aligner and SS Ortho accounts re in office training and changes contained in Software release notes publications.
  • The Ortho CIS will participate in self-directed, and company provided trainings to increase or maintain job skill sets to be of value to our client base.
  • The CIS will focus on training and self-development to excel to a Level 3 knowledge of the SureSmile Software portfolio (SureSmile Advanced) and will act as the Area SureSmile product expert and will be expected to identify collaboration opportunities between the other Dentsply Sirona SBU teams to leverage the power of One Dentsply Sirona driving the One Customer initiative. 

Additional Responsibilities.

• Engage in support training with local Ortho Field Reps or lead training initiatives as requested by Area Sales Director for Area teammates who engage in selling the SureSmile Platform.
• Fully participate in CIS Cross Training Initiatives re Software updates, as SureSmile Beta Test offices will be in coverage panel, and provide training support as requested.
• Assist with National Accounts/DSO, Institutional, and Clinical Affairs projects and accounts as directed.
• Define, own and implement strong executional focus on assigned SureSmile Accounts by consistent and sustained SFDC entry and tracking.

  • Identify best practices, communicate, and share with other CIS and Procedural Solutions specialists.
     

Education

  • Bachelor of Science degree preferred.

Languages (spoken and written)

  • English and French

Work Experience :

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in orthodontic industry
  • Prefer Orthodontic Office, Clinical Chairside experience.
  • Orthodontic account experience in consulting, training and process improvement required.
  • Orthodontic Office clinical staff or treatment consultation experience required.
  • Experience with integration of various DICOM / STL Imaging and CAD CAM technologies with orthodontic practice management, image management, treatment planning software and 3D Printing in the Orthodontic Office Setting.
  • Demonstrates a consistent track record of positive cross functional teamwork and timely communication.
