Order Entry and Inventory Specialist

$55,000 - $65,000

As a keymember of the logistics team, this position ensures the accurate and timelymovement of products from the overseas suppliers to the customer distributionsite, maintaining proper merchandise flow.

RESPONSIBILITIESAND TASKS

Reviewinventory levels in conjunction with sales forecasts, to determine purchasingneeds

Prepare and forward orderplacements

Arrange inspection of finishedgoods

Confirm and arrange shipping dates

Work with logistics team to consolidate shipments

Correspond with local freight company for delivery of domesticorders

REQUIREMENTS ANDSKILLS

University degree or college diploma or equivalent workexperience

3-5 years of experience in a similar role

Advanced computer skills are required including experienceworking with databases and web-based retail vendorportals

Excellent communication skills for dealing with suppliers,transportation and key customer contacts

Experience in demand planning and forecasting, monitoringinventory levels, submitting purchase orders to suppliers, coordinatingoverseas and local delivery transportation
