Overview

Oracle JD Edwards Consultant role at J&M Group. This position provides support for JDE World (v 8.1) primarily in the Finance module and related interfaces and peripheral systems. The candidate should have a good understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Project Cost Management business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for JDE World (v8.1) primarily in the Finance module and related interfaces and peripheral systems.
  • Possess a good understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Project Cost Management business processes.
  • Triage and resolve incidents, prioritize, and track to closure. Provide fixes for issues or escalate to respective stakeholders for resolution.
  • Assist the compliance team with audits as needed. Lead and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Work on bulk data update requests and identify problem management tickets to eliminate or automate issues.
  • Create documentation and standard work to facilitate process improvements. Identify process gaps and remediation strategies. Generate ideas for incident-reducing automation and maintain a recurring issue tracker and remediation plan.
  • Monitor month-end processes and communicate status updates. Serve as a liaison between IT and business users.
  • Understand the JDE SDLC process, create test scripts, and handle functional testing, including ICRP and UAT.

Qualifications

  • Seniority level: Entry level
  • Employment type: Contract
  • Good understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Project Cost Management processes.
  • Experience with JDE World (v8.1) in Finance-focused roles is preferred.
  • Strong incident management, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and problem management experience.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, test scripts, ICRP and UAT.
  • Ability to create documentation and standard work; strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to liaise between IT and business users.
