Role: Oracle DB SupportLocation: Calgary, CanadaDuration: Contract Responsibilities:Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Oracle D2K, PL/SQL environment to do the following:Follow the internal processes to the ‘T.’Document the transition.From steady state: on a day-day basis resolve tickets within SLABe absolutely client experience focused and have a passion to identify opportunities to continuously improve our services.Report to Leads outside of the local region and participate in preparing/presenting status reports.Programming, conduct code reviews, and test software as needed, ensuring quality of deliverables.Assist in Documentation - KEDB - Recovery & Resolution procedures.Analyze business functions and data discrepancies.Communicate effectively with global team members and business users at all levels.On-call responsibility on a rotation basis is required once the candidate is up to speed.Work would be in Energy and manufacturing functional area.Flexible to work in Maintenance/Support Development ProjectsExecute various forms of testing – unit, system, regression, integration, performance, volume.Experience in code management and versioning methodologies.Be open to learn on the job and work on other technologies.Preferred Qualification: Self-motivated go-getter attitude based professional.Superior customer service mindsetGood to have knowledge of Production support activities (added advantage)Ability to analyze data.Strong customer focusWillingness and ability to multi-task.Willingness to learn the Product/Platform and associated technologies.Ability to be learn and apply new processes and tools.Technical understanding of products/services and/or ecosystem being supported.Be a team player who volunteers to solve problems faced by the team.
