Description:

The role of an Operations Coordinator is one that requires a great deal of attention to detail. They are responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operations of their team run smoothly and efficiently. The Operations Coordinator may also be tasked with developing new ways to streamline processes or increase efficiency. They commonly work in a team environment alongside other members of management who focus on different aspects of the business. This position reports to the Director, Product Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and scheduling work activities, considering the availability of resources and deadlines.
  • Monitoring activities to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicating issues to management regarding any problems with equipment or processes that may affect productivity.
  • Analyzing data to identify problems or trends that may require corrective action.
  • Conducting feasibility studies to determine whether new products or services are commercially viable.
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of business processes and projects.
  • Maintaining records of operational activities such as sales, inventory levels, staffing levels, or shipping activity
  • Developing and implementing strategies and tactics for resolving issues and achieving goals.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ of related work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams with use of leadership skills
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge and understanding of computer systems
